Martens Women's vegan sandals Blaire Cambridge Fisherman
Product description
Dr.'s Blair sandal with a firm, light zigzag sole with extra platform length. Martens has tons of classic doc character and heavy wear and is 100 percent vegan.
Dr. Martens is the subject of legend. It all started in Munich, Germany in 1945, when Dr. Klaus Maertens got his foot in a ski accident in the Bavarian Alps. To make walking easier during the repair process, he designed an air-soled shoe. Using old rubber wheels, he made soles with air that was locked in locked rooms. He showed his prototype to his friend the engineer / inventor, Dr. Herbert Funck and together decided to make and manufacture shoes. The shoe not only solved the doctor's immediate problem, but also began to sell well in Germany. In 1959, they both decided they needed a shoe manufacturing and distribution company as soon as Dr. Maertens, in other parts of the world. Initially, many manufacturers rejected the concept of an air-cushioned floor as a short-lived trick. However, R. Griggs, based in Wollaston, England, decided to come up with the idea of creating the first work boat with a revolutionary solo. At the beginning of April 1960, the first cherry red octagonal workboat was built and named 1460. In order for the brand to sell better in England, the name was extended to Dr. Martens. The coverage is AirWair and the rest is history.
